OCAC Minister Tung Chen-Yuan sends congratulations as Turkey Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter established

Turkey Taiwan Chambers of Commerce (TTCC) held the members' assembly and president handover and Junior Chapter establishment assembly. The events were attended by guests including Taiwan's Representative to Turkey, Volkan Chih-Yang Huang, President of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Europe (ETCC), Jean-Charles Lam, and Honorary President, Lee Yu-ying. OCAC Minister Tung Chen-Yuan gave his congratulations in a video.
In early October 2021, the TTCC held its second directors meeting of this year at which the new president, directors, supervisors and officials were elected, with Faisal Hu becoming the 13th president. The handover took place on the afternoon of October 29; a grand assembly was also held on the day to mark the establishment of the Junior Chapter of the TTCC; Chang Ching-wei is the founding president. Representative Huang presented a certificate of congratulations and certificate of thanks to the new president Hu and outgoing President Mei-chih Huang Associate Adviser, OCAC on behalf of the OCAC. 
Minister Tung recorded a congratulatory video in which he said that, since it was established in 2009, the TTCC has assisted the Taipei Economic and Cultural Mission in Ankara provide emergency assistance to overseas compatriots and helped raise the level of Taiwan-Turkey bilateral relation, serving as the best civic ambassador for Taiwan. He also expressed the hope that the establishment of the Junior Chapter can have a demonstration effect and encourage the establishment of junior chapters of chambers of commerce in Europe and across the world to give a wider stage to outstanding young entrepreneurs overseas.
Faisal Hu said that he will continue to promote TTCC affairs on the foundation laid by previous presidents and provide various services to local Taiwanese entrepreneurs, and will also continue to maintain close contacts with mainstream society to promote the development of Taiwan-Turkey bilateral relations.
 Guests at the event included Taiwan's Representative to Turkey, Volkan Huang, Division Chief Tseng Bao-lang of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Mission in Ankara, and Chen Ming-ze, director of the Taiwan Trade Center, Istanbul. Also, President of The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Europe Jean-Charles Lam and Honorary President Lee Yu-ying traveled to the venue from France and Switzerland, respectively, displaying the unity and cohesion of the Taiwanese business community in Europe.
