The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) is dedicated to enhancing the understanding of Taiwan among overseas youth and promoting exchanges between domestic and overseas young people. OCAC is committed to organizing cultural experience and Mandarin language learning programs for overseas youth in Taiwan. This year OCAC is going to host a 14-day experience program "2023 Overseas Compatriot Youth Taiwan Experience Program-4th Batch (Thailand)" from October 5th to October 18th, which is expected to accommodate 37 overseas students. The activities include visits to political and economic establishments, industrial tours, school trial courses, youth exchanges, exploration of humanities and education, multicultural experience, visits to tourist attractions, ecological explorations, immersion in local life, and team-building games or competitions. All of these activities are aimed at providing participants with an in-depth understanding of Taiwanese culture.

The 14-day journey to explore Taiwan includes a meticulously planned itinerary by the undertaking unit. It features visits to various remarkable places, such as the Presidential Office, Taipei City exploration, Beitou Library, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Syntrend Creative Park, Shifen Scenic Area, Fengjia Night Market, Taichung Opera House, Sun Moon Lake scenic area, Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center, Puli Guangxing Paper Mill, Lukang Tianhou Temple Old Street. This itinerary promises an exhilarating and enriching experience for the participants.

In addition, the itinerary also includes experiences of engaging in traditional cultural experience. These activities are designed to be both exciting and enriching, with the aim of allowing the participants to know more about Taiwan, promoting exchanges between domestic and overseas youth, and appreciating the beauty of Taiwan's landscapes and culture. By creating wonderful memories and impressions, the program fosters international youth exchanges and strengthens the bonds between overseas and local youth.
