Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Miami annual meeting and Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Miami presidential handover ceremony successfully completed

The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Miami (TCCM) held its annual meeting and presidential handover ceremony for the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Miami (TJCCM) at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines City, South Florida on July 31, 2021.  The event attracted more than 100 members and family as well as many honored guests. The activity featured a lucky draw, song guessing competition and self-introduction by new members. The atmosphere was lively and happy, and the event came to a successful conclusion.
Director-general of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami Amino Chin Yao Chi said that overseas Taiwanese business people were extremely important supporters of Taiwan's diplomatic work. He thanked the Chamber's president Yale Huang for his long-term support for TECO's work and hoped that he would continue to hold various activities in the future.  He believed that president Huang would bringtogether members of TCCM and take  the Chamber's operation to a new level. Then, Director-general Amino Chi and other participants witnessed the handover between outgoing president of the TJCCM, Liao Meng-wei, and the new president, Qiu Yi-wei.
OCAC Secretary Wu Pei-fen said that since the outbreak of COVID- 19, overseas compatriot groups in South Florida hadn't held large-scale activities for a long time; she expressed her excitement for being able to see so  many people in this great outdoor event. She also conveyed the'OCAC's various overseas compatriot policies  to  the attendants and  presented new programs such as the EUcare APP and Overseas Credit Guarantee Fund Stimulus 4.0, hoping that everyone could make good use of them.
In addition to  overseas compatriots from South Florida,  there were VIPs from other areas of the country   attended the activity , including World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC) Secretary General-elect Arthur Chen (Chen Shi-hsiu) and a group of nine people led by President Suzanne Chen (Chen Wen-shan) of the Greater Dallas Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (GDTCC) who travelled all the way from Texas, and Joan Tsou, Director of the Taiwan Trade Center, San Francisco. Arthur Chen warmly invited everyone to visit Texas. Joan Tsou introduced the nature of the Taiwan Trade Center's operations and service items to overseas compatriots.

World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Secretary General-elect Arthur Chen presented a souvenir which was accepted by Director-general of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami Amino Chin Yao Chi.
