The delegations of the 72th Anniversary of 228 Memorial Visiting Group, returned to Taiwan for the 72th anniversary of the 228 incident from February 25 to March 1, 2019. The group consists of 19 members who are descendants of victims of 228 incidents

The group met with President Tsai, Mr. Hsu, president of the Judicial Yuan, Amb. Hsin-Hsing Wu Ph.D. Minister of OCAC, and Mr. Roy Yuan-Rong Leu, Vice Minister of OCAC, visited the memorial foundation of 228 and exchanged opinions on the issues of transitional Justice and campaigns for rectifying the name of Taiwan. The group also commemorated the tragic incident and their ancestors who sacrificed their lives in the pursuit of democracy for future generations.
