Duff has gained varied experience from different challenges he faced over the past 9 years. Through the hardship of starting a business with only $20k AUD (around $500k TWD), Duff did not expect that revenue would flow in automatically. However, after the business was established, he thought that revenue would increase continuously. This foolish thought made the economic situation worse than anticipated.
 
The motivation for Duff to start a business began from a vision, investment, sense of accomplishment, continuous growth, responsibility, and the willingness to learn. He fell in love with what he was doing every day and over time strengthened his principles. The shortage of funds did not stop Duff from starting a business. His willingness to learn and adaption to constant changes as well as the local lifestyle and culture is the reason that made difference.
