WTCCJC Overseas and Domestic Youth Entrepreneur Forum Tung Chen-yuan: Combine with Taiwan's advantages to create a win-win situation

To promote the building of links to Taiwan by young overseas compatriots, The World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter (WTCCJC) held the Overseas and Domestic Youth Entrepreneur Forum on February 15, with the title of Part 1: Second Generation Succession Isn't Easy. Interaction with friendly chambers of commerce was carried out online, allowing young entrepreneurs in Taiwan and overseas to engage in discussion and learn from each other.

OCAC Minister Tung Chen-yuan gave a speech online in which he encouraged WTCCJC members to bring into play intergenerational succession, exchange and innovation energy and combine with Taiwan's advantages to achieve a win-win situation together. He thanked WTCCJC President Sophia Huang for her efforts as leader and also thanked President of The World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC) Sueling Wang for his strong support. He hopes that the experience accumulated by the Taiwanese enterprises of WTCC can support youth entrepreneurs and help overseas young compatriot entrepreneurs and young Taiwanese entrepreneurs go out into the world and promote mutually beneficial win-win results. This Forum involved discussion of the issue of second generation succession and startup development, promoting matching between and development of partnership by overseas compatriot youth entrepreneurs and young Taiwanese entrepreneurs and the combining with Taiwan's advantages to help youth entrepreneurs grow strong.

Sueling Wang said that the meeting of the 28th board of directors and supervisors of WTCC will be held in March and all young entrepreneurs around the world are invited to attend. Full support will also be given to WTCCJC in future, working hard together for second generation youth and for the future of Taiwan. Sophia Huang said that the OCAC and WTCC are the strongest backup for the WTCCJC and they have always supported young entrepreneurs around the world, for which she is extremely grateful. She said that this year is the 90th anniversary of the OCAC; WTCCJC has planned a series of activities in line with the OCAC's policies and objectives; today's forum is the first of these activities and, in future, more activities with overseas compatriot youth themes will be held to help young overseas compatriots and Taiwanese entrepreneurs develop.

This forum was chaired by Chairman of the WTCCJC Business Opportunity Promotion Committee Peter Lin; Deputy President of The Third Wednesday Club-Young Entrepreneur Group Ted Hsu, Jemery Chen of NEIA Youth Committee, Eugene He, CEO of Taoyuan Young Entrepreneur Group, Richard Liao of Generation 2, Bill Deng of Junior Chamber International Taiwan, WTCCJC Secretary General Lisa Tseng attended and engaged in exchange on overseas compatriot youth inheritance and aligning with Taiwan.
